T.A.C.O. Tuesday | Ornament
Well look at that! It's T.A.C.O. Tuesday again! Time for another assignment/prompt/project...whatever the hell you want to call it-- it's all designed to get you flexing those creative muscles. Remember that Picasso quote, "Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working"? T.A.C.O. Tuesdays will get you working- and before you know it, you'll start feeling inspired. Last week, of course, we had "gratitude in greyscale". Now that we've entered the month of December, why not make an ornament?! Don't celebrate the holidays? That's fine! Hang it from a doorknob, the ceiling fan pull, your cat's tail...(neither your cat, nor your work of art would much appreciate that last option)
I made my ornament out of paper clay and then decoupaged old sewing pattern paper and other scraps over the clay. I adhered the papers with tinted gel medium, then stamped "love" on scrap paper and used the gel medium again to affix on the center of the star. And then a silver paint pen frame, glitter glue, and a hanger of craft wire and beads.
Have fun with this one! Hang it on your tree... mail it to your grandma... there's always your cat's tail... but whatever you do with it, photograph it first and post it to the fb page for everyone to see your handiwork!
