DIY Trifold Reflector

DIY Trifold Reflector

Lighting gear can get expensive, and when you're just starting out (or if you're simply super thrifty like me), there are some really fabulous DIY options.  I made this trifold reflector out of 3 silver cake boards and a little bit of gaffer tape.*

The trifold is a quick and easy tool to use to fill in shadows and add flattering catchlights.

*If you don't have gaffer tape on hand, you'll just want to be scooting on over to amazon and throwing some in your cart.  If you're even half serious about making photographs, you'll find it to be an indispensable tool.
